We're a Certified Member of the BBSA
The British Blind & Shutter Association is the only national trade body for blind, shutter and awning companies in the UK. Membership isn't automatic. Below is what it actually checks, and how to confirm it yourself rather than take our badge's word for it.

What BBSA Membership Actually Checks
The BBSA was founded in 1919 and now represents more than 400 member companies across the UK. Before it accepts a new member, it reviews the business behind the badge, not just the application form.
Trading history
At least three years of continuous trading before an application is considered.
Financial stability
A financial review to confirm the company can meet its obligations to customers.
Staff training
A demonstrated, ongoing commitment to training the people who measure and fit your blinds.
Health, safety and quality systems
Management systems that meet BBSA requirements, checked before membership is granted.
Code of Practice
Written agreement to trade under the BBSA's Code of Practice, covering fair trading and customer service.
Independent dispute resolution
Access to the BBSA's mediation service if a complaint can't be resolved with us directly.
The Standard Behind Our Child Safety Claims
Every internal blind sold in the UK, including ours, must meet BS EN 13120:2009+A1:2014, the British and European standard covering internal blind performance and safety. It's been in force since 28 February 2014, and it's the standard our child-safety claims on product pages refer to.

Read the certificate itself rather than take a badge's word for it.
Verify This Independently
We'd rather you check this yourself than trust a badge on our own site. The BBSA publishes a public register of every member company.
