How to Reattach Roman Blind Rear Cord Safety Clips
Essential Rear-Cord Safety for Your Blinds
Step-By-Step Guide
Step 1: Locate the Separated Clip
Find the two disconnected pieces on the back of the blind, one half is secured to the fabric pleat, and the other half is attached to the vertical lifting cord.
Step 2: Align the Pieces
Hold the cord-side piece steady and align it with the fabric-side piece.
Step 3: Slide to Reconnect
Carefully slide the half of the clip attached to the fabric back into the cord piece, as shown in the video, until it locks securely in place.
Safety Tip: Regularly check the back of your Roman blinds to ensure all safety clips are intact and connected. If a clip disconnects frequently when opening the blinds, check to make sure the fabric isn't catching on the window frame.
