How to Reconnect an Easy-Break Chain Connector

Simple Guide

How to Reconnect Your Chain

  1. Step 1: Locate Both Halves

Find the two disconnected ends of your ball chain, each holding one half of the clear plastic connector.

  2. Step 2: Grip and Align

Grasp one half of the connector in each hand, aligning the open sides so they face each other.

  3. Step 3: Clip and Snap

Firmly press the two halves back together until you hear them click or snap securely into place.

Why do they break apart? These clips are specifically designed to pop open under pressure to ensure child and pet safety. If your chain disconnects frequently, check to make sure the blinds aren't catching or getting stuck when you operate them.
